P. Graham Strong

Graham Strong (writing as P. Graham Strong) is one of those people who claims to have been a writer all his life. He currently works as a freelance professional marketing writer and journalist. After a particularly inspiring writers’ conference, Graham decided it was finally time to get to writing a novel. That book eventually became SOCIAL GROOMING FOR HIGHER PRIMATES. It is a first-person narrative, which makes this third-person “About” page all the more disquieting.

Graham’s two favourite writers are F. Scott Fitzgerald and Paul Quarrington. SOCIAL GROOMING FOR HIGHER PRIMATES was inspired directly by writers of the New Journalism movement (Joan Didion, Tom Wolfe, Hunter S. Thompson, Jimmy Breslin, Truman Capote, and others), Douglas Coupland, Nora Ephron, Nick Hornby, and Douglas Adams, and by the 80s post-punk/New Wave movement including Joy Division/New Order, Depeche Mode, and Duran Duran.

Graham lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario with his wife Noël and three sons (who may or may not be home right now). He is currently submitting SOCIAL GROOMING FOR HIGHER PRIMATES to agents for representation.
